Glorious Day.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16
May we remember the wonderful gift of salvation that our Lord Jesus gave us through His crucifixion and death, and may we each search our hearts to ensure we are ready for His coming!
Glorious Day -Casting Crowns

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises
One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He
Word became flesh and the light shined among us
His glory revealed

(Chorus)
Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He
Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me

Chorus

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose over death He had conquered
Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore
Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him
From rising again

Chorus

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my Beloved One, bringing
My Savior, Jesus, is mine

Chorus

"A Laugh is a Smile that Bursts" Mary H. Waldrip

Life is full of so many unpredictable and questionable circumstances, and unfortunately it's been proven this week.  Yet in all the sadness and heartache that has occurred, there are still so many things to be joyous about.

Tonight as I was sitting next to my dear husband working away on a school assignment, he turns to me and says "why do you do that all the time?  You need to go stand over there on that pedestal (the table) and entertain me... tell me a joke."  So I said, "ok" and marched straight over to the little end table across the room and crawled on top of it.  Laughing hysterically and seeing the surprised look in Justin's eyes, I started my joke.

It went something like this....

Knock, Knock
Who's There?
Dwayne
Dwayne Who?
Dwayne the Bathtub, I'm Dwowning

Giggling my way through the joke while being accompanied by Justin's laughing support added a little [necessary] humor to our evening.  This was truly a memorable moment that probably will never happen again; however, because of the unpredictability of the situation – it was sincere, priceless, and refreshing.  Laughter really is medicine for the soul and I'm just thankful I have someone special to laugh with every day.

I have had so much to think about this week and it really puts life into perspective.  Enjoy every moment, take nothing for granted, laugh often and love more than anything.
